FBC is the leader in Greece in construction of ICE BLOCK PLANTS.

Our modern and full automatic technology is capable to produce 96-3000 Ice Blocks per 24hours.

The refrigerants that are used, could be: Freon or R-717 (Ammonia).

BLOCK ICE REMAINS IN GREAT DEMAND

  • for Fishing Boats and Pisciculture

  • for the cooling and beverages of all kind

  • for chilling in different medical treatments and in pharmacy

  • for the preservation and cold storage of perishable goods and warehousing.

  • for the process cooling in the Food stuff Industry and Chemical Industry

ADVANTAGES OF AN ICE BLOCK PLANT :

- Low melting losses of the ice block on long transport routes

- Easy to operate

- Long life

- Low cost of operation and maintenance

- High holdover capacity

A DETAILED OFFER REQUIRES THE KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • The desired ice making capacity per 24 hours

  • The desired ice storage capacity depending on the consumption

  • The refrigerant

  • The actual cooling and freezing water inlet temperatures

  • The quality of the actual cooling and freezing water at the place of erection.

  • The operating voltage, frequency, current type, protective system at the place of erection.

VERSIONS:

There is a wide range of Block Ice making Plants. Their progressively stepped capability of freezing is from 2,4 tons to 75 tons per 24 hours at continuous operation, depending on the capacity which represent an average of 96 to 3000 ice block of 25kgs each per 24 hours at continuous operation, depending on the capacity.

The tank can be constructed with metal sheet of 6mm width or for large Ice Blocks with concrete.
